The AP B
Physics exam is Monday afternoon, May 9. If
you've completed the Sunday series of
assignments on Modern Physics, you'll have a
very light week in physics after the AP exam
next week.
If you will be
absent from class this week for an AP exam, it's
your responsibility to keep up with the
assignments. If you will miss a lab period,
arrange in advance for makeup. |

AP Multiple Choice, Part I |
Do these practice AP multiple-choice assessments sometime
this week. I recommend not waiting until the last
minute. These assessments can help identify areas you need to emphasize
in your study and equations you need to know from memory. |

We've worked on some of these problems in the past. The
more free-response problems you can do from past exams, the better.

You'll take data for L19C on Tuesday. If you're not working on
the lab, work on
these AP review problems.
Wear lab-legal shoes to class if you
need to do lab work. |

The Photoelectric and Compton Effects |
Before doing this assignment, read 30.1-4 and section 5
up to but not including Diffraction of X rays, etc. Section 30-3 refers to some results from
Ch.29 (Special Relativity) which we haven't studied yet. You won't be
handicapped by this omission in your study of quantum physics. |
