1.  How is an online course different from a traditional face-to-face course?

The teacher can provide immediate help when you have questions.
There's less work and you don't have to attend class because the course is online.
It's more important to read and re-read the textbook, do practice problems, and participate in discussion groups.
Since the class schedule is provided, you don't have to keep to the schedule.  It's okay to fall behind a bit, as long as you've studied everything before the test.
