Announcements:  Welcome to Advanced Physics (AP-C)!  This is the primary site for the course. 

Please refer to the course Lab Guide to assist you in developing your Pendulum Lab design.

Your first set of AP Problems are due by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 8/26

(some of the box spaces are small, so don't try to fit your answer in the box);  do NOT submit this electronically!

Start Error Analysis Handout and be ready to present/discuss in class on Thursday.  If you need some extra help or want more detailed info, reference material is on reserve in the Library. 

 bring completed Error Analysis Handout to class and be ready to discuss/present answers;

it may also be collected

we *may* do a 10-min review of all of last year's physics (laws and procedures)

 

we will work problems 16(12E)w & 16(28P) in class

bring signed copy of the Safety/Tardy/Honesty/etc Policy to class

bring a lab book to class; where lab clothes

(you may have to crawl around on the floor or climb tables or chairs, so wear something you would feel comfortable doing that in)

homework 8 AM       log in to Moodle; you should find a 4-question quiz (it should take 15 minutes or less) and submit your answers via Moodle. 

You must submit the quiz by 10 am this morning.

continue thinking about HLab1... you should now be able to derive the equation for  Dg or Dg/g
based on what we did in class today
