High-Speed Imaging at NCSSM

Most of the content on this site was created by NCSSM students in the course, High-Speed Imaging.  In this course, students learn techniques of high-speed imaging and use them in carrying out short- and long-term projects.  Students then author web sites to present their results.

Here is a Slide Show that provides an idea of how project work proceeds.

The photo of a milk pillar that we chose for the logo for this site was taken by Hans Choe, Corey Hadley, Stuart Pratt, and Sharon Roberson. They used a Sony DKC-FP3 camera with these settings:  f/11, shutter 0.6 s, ISO 100, and 1344x1024 resolution.

All the photographs displayed on this site are the property of the student photographers, the instructor, or NCSSM. Permission is required for any use other than personal viewing in a browser. For more information, contact Loren Winters.
