High-Speed
Imaging at NCSSM
Most of the content on this site was
created by NCSSM students in the course, High-Speed Imaging.
In this course, students learn techniques of high-speed
imaging and use them in carrying out short- and long-term
projects. Students then author web sites to present their
results.
Here is a
Slide Show that
provides an idea of how project work proceeds.
The photo of a milk pillar that we chose
for the logo for this site was taken by Hans Choe, Corey Hadley,
Stuart Pratt, and Sharon Roberson. They used a Sony DKC-FP3
camera with these settings: f/11, shutter 0.6 s, ISO 100,
and 1344x1024 resolution.
All the photographs displayed on this site
are the property of the student photographers, the instructor, or NCSSM.
