| Brittany Spencer is a senior at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and is further enrolled in AP Photography. The GummiBear Experiment was originally her idea, and she enlisted Blake Bommelje, a junior at NCSSM, to help her take pictures of this time-honored NCSSM
tradition and legend on the chemistry floor. To aid in this endeavor
was Dr. Loren Winters, High Speed Imaging and Physics professor at NCSSM who
has taught this class for several generations and literally rewrites the
book on the subject every year for his students. Also of aid was Dr.
Eileen Brisk, Chemistry Professor and supervisor as to the finer methods of
the GummiBear Experiment. |
