In this picture we captured the string of the pendulum as it is bent, but the pendulum remains in place. Also, streaks appear at top from glass.
We captured a good explosion here, but the pendulum remains relatively still.
Yet again the blast does not have enough power to move the heavy pendulum. Also our handy balloon pump appears in the bottom right corner.
We switched pendulums and got a picture with promising results, but the string seems to have a weird twisting motion.
We finally got all of the aspects right in this picture. The pendulum moves, the string is relatively straight, and the photo seems analyzable.
Although there is less swing in this picture, the changes we made still work and produced another analyzable picture.
Although an accident this photo shows a bit of our balloon set up right before an explosion.
Another set-up picture preceding a large explosion.
A far away picture as the flashes are being tested before a big explosion. Photographed by Henry Lancaster.
Henry Lancaster took this picture from behind the set-up resulting in a sweet silhouette.
Yet another silhouette picture from afar, by Henry Lancaster.
