Conclusion:

By completing this project we found that adding vibration to a milk splash can cause a variety of results. One of these results was a widening in the diameter of the crown. Another result was a flowering effect. The last different effect was the random movement of the droplets on the peaks of the crown. The reason we had so many different results was because the milk drops were landing on the vibration plate when the plate was at different points in its oscillation. When the plate was on its way up, there was more of a flattening effect; when the plate was on its way down, there was more of a splash. We could not control the effect that the plate would have on the splash, so our photographs are a combination of different effects. Another interesting feature was the presence of ripples in the puddles of milk due to the vibration.
