Stress Ball Collision

Download Clip (270 Kb)

Here is a clip of a foam stress reliever colliding with a wall at high velocity. Since foam is not very elastic, the ball does not bounce very much at all. This is quite visible in the video, as the speed of the ball leaving the wall is significantly less than the speed of the incoming ball. Foam is, however, very flexible, so the ball almost entirely compresses against the wall. The framerate used was 2000 frames/sec, and the shutter speed was 10x, or 1/20000th of a second.
