Narrow, high column

Download clip (760 kB)
The drop creating this splash fell from the same height as in the last clip, creating an equally high splash.  However, this time the column broke into 4 small droplets instead of the 2 larger ones as in the previous clip.  The column was also more narrow here, so perhaps the formation of smaller droplets was due to the narrow column size.  As the column collapses, a series of droplets breaks from its tip.  The droplets always break away at the same point above the water.
