Slightly larger splash

Download clip (660 kB)
The camera was moved back so that the sides of the wine glass could be seen.  The drop was released from 3/8 of the height as in the first clip.  This drop height produces a splash  intermediate in size and speed compared to clips 4 and 6, whose drops fell from 1/2 and 1/4 the height of the first clip, respectively.  Two droplets separate from the column, and both appear to be roughly the same size.   A third droplet of the same size forms just above the water's surface.
