Fan splash

Download clip (1.2 MB)
Three drops fell from the funnel at full drop height.  The first created a wide column that the second collided with, forming a fan of water at the point of collision.  The fan's sides face the camera because the drop collided near the back of the column.  Its edges soon break up into rays of droplets.  A third drop collides with the column after it has collapsed.
