Acceleration on the Physics Merry-Go-Round

Give all numerical answers to 2 significant figures.
1. The movie clip runs at 30 frames per second. Find the period of rotation of the MGR in seconds. Describe briefly how you found your answer.
2. The diameter of the plank is 12 feet. Estimate the distance from one of the riders to the center of the MGR in meters. Describe briefly how you found your answer.

3. Calculate the centripetal acceleration of the rider. Give your answer in units of g, the Earth's gravitational field. Describe briefly how you found the answer.

4. Suppose a horizontal accelerometer were placed a the position of one of the riders.  What angle would you expect the bb's in the accelerometer to indicate?  How did you find your answer.
