Dan Teague


 

I am an Instructor of Mathematics at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, where I have taught since 1982.   During my time at NCSSM, I have had the pleasure of teaching a variety of courses.  During the past 5 years, I have taught:

 

Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, Problem Solving Seminar, Special Projects Week course on Surreal Numbers, Calculus of Several Variables, Graph Theory and Networks, Combinatorics, Fractals and Chaos, Complex Systems, Modeling with Differential Equations, and Mathematical Modeling.

 

I also serve as a statistical advisor to the students taking the research courses in science and for students preparing for Westinghouse and other research competitions.

 

I have been elected to serve as the 2nd Vice President of the Mathematical Association of America for 2008-2009.
