Every two
weeks, on Wednesday, a set of new calculus problems will appear at this
site. Your class has two weeks to solve the new
challenge problem. Each problem set can earn your class 5
points. Partial credit will be given but no credit
will be earned for answers without explanation or work shown. Be
sure to give a reason for your results.
We invite
solutions from students of NCAAPMT members. Discuss the problem, work on it
together,
share your solution with your classmates before submitting it for the
challenge. At the end of the year, the teacher of
the class with the most points will receive a plaque honoring the work
of their students.
Once your class has a
solution that all agree is correct, type it up in good form and e-mail
it to: Dan Teague at teague@ncssm.edu.
To join NCAAPMT ($5/year) go to the
homepage (http://www.ncaapmt.org/calculus/).
